I am delighted to welcome our new students to our temporary building here at the Feltrim Road, Drinan while we watch the build of our exciting new school on the site beside us!
Malahide-Portmarnock Educate Together opened its doors to new students on 27th August 2018. It has been a very exciting time for us as we have grown over the last four years. This school is the culmination of dedicated work on the part of parents and Educate Together to provide a new educational experience for young people in the area
Along with a balanced school curriculum, we are also be involved with different projects and programs. We are now well and truly on our new journey together with students, teachers, staff, parents, Board of Management & the community!
WHAT MPETSS IS ABOUT:
At its heart, MPETSS has a vision as a creative hub of learning & teaching where teachers are facilitators and students learn through trial and error. No set-back is a failure, rather an opportunity to review, regroup and try again. We aim to equip students with skills of the 21st century which can be used to adapt and flourish in order to give them the best opportunity for their unique success.

About us:
The staff bring with them a wealth of experience from many different educational settings. Every member of our staff plays a role in the engagement and development of our students.
The student voice is integral to our vision of education. Our aim is to provide a setting where students develop not only in their academic ability but also their life skills. Aoife and Anne (our Deputy Principal) see their roles as encouraging students to become participants in their learning journey and enabling them to apply critical thinking, entrepreneurial and innovative skills in preparation for their future.
We envision Malahide/Portmarnock Educate Together Secondary School as fostering a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere between students, parents, staff and the Board of Management. Within this vision, is a dynamic Junior and Senior cycle. We advocate extra curricular activity through arts education, theatre, STEM, citizenship and sport. We feel that allowing students to explore and develop all of their skills in many different areas has an overall positive effect on their progression.
